Hey im just building a system (first system), wanted to know if this was a decent deal, the primary purpose will be gaming. Thinking of OC'ing

amd 64 3000+ 939 ($229)
segate 120gig SATA ($135)
Corsair Value ram 512 PC3200 ($135)
Either a MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum ($275)
or an ABIT AV8 3rd eye ($185)
Sparkle 6600GT (AGP Version) ($349)
Thermaltake Venus12 HSF ($55)

The prices are Australian

Any comments are appriciated

The Australian doller is bout 79 US cents but we lag behind in technology so can't get the kind of prices offered at new egg

i hear a lot of good thing about both boards, but in my opinion ABIT is better for overclocking.

Abit is exactly the same as MSI in this case, but a lot less expensive, And i would assume Abit's TechSupport is a lot better...but then again what are you here for?
