Gaming Failure

I hope this is the right place to put this thread.

I have a problem and I have exhausted all the solutions I can think of and so far, nothing has worked.

I bought this laptop a year ago. I have an HP Pavilion 17-e049wm with Windows 8.1 (64bit).

I had no issues with it until about four or five months ago. I can browse the internet, listen to music (like Spotify), stream videos, watch HD movies, etc with no problems. However, playing a video game causes it to crash. First, it is not every time I play. Sometimes, I can have a game running for a few hours (I tested this) and not have any issues, and sometimes it will work for 10 minutes. When it crashes, it acts like I just held the reset button during game play (no freezing, no messages, no blue screen, etc). Every once in a while, I will get a BSOD with a message about an "uncorrectable error", and then it resets.

Here is what I have done:
1. I updated ALL of my drivers (BIOS, graphic, audio, etc)
2. I cleaned my fan, cleaned the vents, and ran a temp test (it does not run hot)
3. I turned off Windows 8.1 "auto shut off" error log.
4. I don't think I am running of of RAM. I could be wrong here, as I am not an expert.
5. I even changed all game graphic settings to super low quality.

Here are my specs:

Did you get the drivers from AMD's website rather than from HP's website?

Also, do you have any crash logs under C:\Windows\Minidump ? If so, add them to a zip file and upload them here.

Yes, I downloaded the drivers from AMD's site.

And I attached the .zip. I hope it works. (I've never done that before.)

I had to split it.

Well, I have tried running the Memtest from a USB and a CD and neither are working. I get a message saying the boot from device failed. Any suggestions there??

How did you burn the ISO to the disc? If you're running Windows 7 or 8, you can just right click the file and choose "Burn image to disc".

Otherwise, use IMGBurn and choose the "image to disc" option.

You can try the USB way with something like UNetbootin.
