baracuda 1tb hard drive disappeared after power loss

It clicks because it looses it's positioning with the spinning disks. It is fried, stop trying to fix what is a dead disk, as you will loose data again if you put any on it.

im trying to get the files off that disk not to put them back on it
I had pictures and videos from my phone that were there because it was my storage drive.

i never had a drive fail sudden death with no warning. i had defrag and disk check on all drives every 2 weeks. and none of the drives show any serious problems ever this one just died.

I did temporarily.

its a backup drive aka. I don't make 10 copies of same file on each drive.
some of the files were deleted from the phones to make space...

none of this nitpicking is answering a question.

can I do anything with it since it showed back up in my computer?

You can try booting off of a Linux LiveCD and accessing it, since it's generally more forgiving about accessing data on a dying HDD than Windows is.

There's also the freezer trick.

Outside of that...not much to be done besides professional recovery services.
