Upgrade that comes with a Downgrade

Well my guess is the hardware is just being reported as a series rather than a specific card. I've mostly used AMD cards over the years and that has always annoyed me. A lot of times I used to pull the cover to look at my card and be sure it was what i thought it was. I was hoping the OP might grace us with some resolution on the issue. I feel used.

It's no mystery or anything and nothing really to be solved as I had already explained that. They are the same card, just the driver reporting the "newer" model number.

For those who are seeking closure, I believe most were correct with the card being the same. I appreciate the input, as I would have really felt like an *** if I wrongfully accused someone for stealing from me.
