Laptop Fan Too loud!!!

Today, I was replacing my laptop cpu and, when I started it after I replaced the cpu, the fan was on full blast (very loud)!!!!! Any help to resolve this????

More info needed. What CPU did you have and what did you upgrade to? What brand and model of laptop do you have? Did you properly reapply thermal paste? What are your CPU temps? Is your BIOS up to date?

My laptop is a toshiba tecra m9 (model no: ptm91e-04t03ten), it used to have a c2d t7250 (2.0 ghz) and now I have a c2d x7900. My bios is the second newest one, I will try to update it now. My cpu temp is around 30 degrees C. I applied paste properly.

Edit: i went on the toshiba website and downloaded the bios, when i installed it, it said that the product was not supported!!!

Did you properly plug your fan in?

i repasted properly, but when i put in the fan, it was kinda bent to the right. Plus, after i am running my laptop for some time, the temperature stays around 40-43 degrees
