Help Please need advice for upgrading my pc

Hey guys,

IM currently running with a CM6850 pc which i am now looking to upgrade the graphics card and power supply to match.

I was just wondering would a gtx 750ti fit into it and whats a good power supply to buy with that would also fit? I wish i could get a better card, but my money is limited atm and considering i only have a geforce gt520 i think it would be a nice upgrade.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated, even advice on a few cards a little higher then the 750ti wwould be great.

You have a 350w peak power PSU so you wouldn't be able to do more than a 750ti unless you upgraded that first.

Thanks for getting back to me, so basically my computer is ok to put a 750ti straight into it without changing any power supply? Will it fit in that computer easy enough?

Yes it should fit no problem. 750ti efficiency is through the roof and only takes 66w tops. That combined with your i7 should have no issues with the PSU there although I do highly suggest replacing it sometime in the near future regardless of your upgrade.

For the TI I beleave it needs the 6 pin on that one so better make sure he has the extra plugsfor it, The standard 750 doesn't need the plug but I'm pretty sure the TI does so something to look into if he goes for the 750 TI

I stand corrected, I think when the first came out they may have needed the extra power but looking on newegg they just use the power off the MB very efficient card on power.

If he has a card in there odds have it he has a 6pin. The 750ti can actually run without one. Some pictures on Google suggest the PSU has a 6pin.
