130nm works on Abit AV8 without flashing BIOS or Replaceing BIOS how does that work but the 90nm doesn't lol... its still Winchester Core. but so clear this up if i get the Abit AV8 mobo with Winchester Core 0.13 Processor then i wont have to do anything to BIOS like Flashing just plug and play right? thanks.

Dont double post.

And yes, any current 130nm processer, as stated above, will work with any current socket 939 board.

so 0.13 Micron is Consider 130nm?

1,000,000 microns = 1 meter
1,000 nanometers = 1 micron
1,000,000 nanometers = 1 millimeter
1,000 microns = 1 millimeter

Thats awsome Thanks for the help guys i promise this is the last question lol... but im gonna go with the 0.13 AMD 64 3500+ newcastle Core with the AV8 mobo so i dont have to replace BIOS. but is the Newcastle Core alot slower then Winchester or is it about same speed or what?

Unless you are going to overclock, the difference will be very minimal, you will not be able to notice it at all if you had both machines next to you.

Either way, the comp with kick ass.
