simple question concerning sound

Okay Im wanting to change the sound windows makes when exiting windows, starting up etc, etc. I want to use a .mp3 file instead of a .wav file that windows seems to require. Is there any way I can use a mp3 instead of wav?

No, I think you need to convert them to WAV first

Yup, Mp3 doesnt work in windows startup sounds. You have to convert it to .wav . Maybe longhorn will have this bug fixed
