Hello,

I'm going to be buying both a laptop and a desktop fairly soon.

The desktop will be equipped well enough to handle higher end games (i7 4790k, GTX 770 4GB, etc.). This is where I'll be doing the heavier sort of gaming whenever I have time.

The laptop, on the other hand, will be a work related item, but I'd still like to be able to play SC2 and Dota 2 at the highest possible settings and at 1080p (considering that laptops with decent graphics cards are 1080p now anyway).

The following constraint applies: I'd like the laptop to be less than $1,000. I've been eyeing the Lenovo Y40, the i7 of which costs $859 on their Canadian website. It has an R9 M275. I haven't been able to find any benchmarks for it other than one video for the Y40 playing CS:GO on high at 1080p where it hits 70+ FPS.

In short: I'd like a laptop that can play both Dota 2 and SC2 on the highest settings at a price below $1,000 (if possible). Can the Lenovo Y40 (i7, R9 M275) do it?
