Thoughts on this Build?

I would change a few things.

First being, the motherboard. This one has an M.2 Slot on the back of the board. Great for mITX builds and future proofing SSD tech.

Just because I'm picky, I would go with the Seasonic instead for a PSU.

I would swap to this SSD not only to minimize clutter inside the PC, but also because it's much quicker to justify the price. If it's still not in stock Amazon usually has them in stock. If he doesn't want to grab the M.2 then at least go with the Samsung EVO.

There isn't any point in 1866 RAM, but since you can't really get cheaper in 1600 then why not. Although personally I was never a fan of the aesthetics of the Sniper series.

I would spend the 10 extra bucks to get the H80i.

Now if your friend doesn't specifically require Nvidia for any of the advantages, he could save a bit of cash going with a 280x.
