Hi. I bought a new graphics card but unfortunately didn't check the connection ports. Ive been searching online this morning but cant seem to find the one I've got. I need to know what adapter I need to connect it to a vga cable. I can post a pic if someone would be kind enough to explain how lol. Thank you. (Figured the pic part out)

But every dvi to vga adapter ive seen has had a long pin on one side....if that makes sense. Buy theres no slot for that on my graphics card.

There is what you're looking for.

How much did you spend on this card? It's pretty old. I would take it back and ask for something with a regular DVI or VGA connection.

Was only £10....thats basically the reason I bought it. Is there something a bit better for around the same price?

Perhaps I should explain my reasons for buying it.

I noticed on the properties of my pc that you can run a windows index assessment. So I did this and was getting a rating of 1.0 for my graphics. So it made sense (to me) to replace the one thats on the MB.

That brings us to now lol. Thank you for any help.
