How do I transfer apps to my new computer?

Hi,

I just bought a new laptop with Windows 8. My old laptop has Windows Vista. I would like to transfer the applications on my old computer like Wondershare Video Editor to my new computer. What is the best way to go about this?

You'll need to reinstall the programs on the new computer. For the most part you can't just transfer programs, because sometimes they may have written registry values and/or depends on libraries that are not on the new system and are copied during the program's installation.
