picking a motherboard

hi i just did my first build last month and ive been having weird motherboard problems. after tons of trouble shooting bios flashs windows reinstalls drivers updates and flash back and cmos clearing im just saying its a bad board. so now im just returning it to newegg and going to order a new so i dont have to wait even longer without a computer. now my question it do i just reorder another one that i had or pick a new one

what i have is ASUS H97M-PLUS LGA 1150 Intel H97 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard - Newegg.com

and im looking at this one ASUS VANGUARD B85 LGA 1150 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard - Newegg.com the 5 year warranty looks good lol

forgot to say it needs to be micro atx, would it be ok to switch to the b85 for gaming or should i just reorder what i have the h97?

Doesn't matter honestly. I see you already have an SSD and the only main benefit going to the 9 series is the M.2 slot.
