Acer S240HLbid LED keeps turning on and off

Hi, so my monitor is new bought it few days ago but it keeps turning on and off like stand-by then it goes back again after few seconds.

Any idea why monitors does this? or on this particular monitor.

Okay maybe its not the monitor, has anyone experience something like this? Maybe its the AMD software that's causing it? anyone?

two things to try... if possible try with another monitor to rule out your video card
If its still doing it on a new monitor, try going to the manufacture's website who makes your video card and get an updated driver

Reconnect your old monitor and if it does not cycle on/off then return the new monitor for one that works
