how many fans?

As for the number of fans, i dont see a problem with putting in as many as needed for cool temps. Just keep in mind that the case needs to have a flow of air, i.e. 3 intake and 3 exhaust or something like that.

right....you want either intake=exhaust or intake<exhaust. also, make sure to keep all intakes as low as you can get and keep all exhaust fans high (at least higher than the position of the intakes). hot air rises!

it would be good also get quality over quantitiy. 2 good quiet fans, one intake, one exhaust will beat 4 noisy generic fans. i have a nice 400w psu that works as an exhaust, so i only have one nice intake with speed control working with the psu, and i've kept my ambience down with a big decrease in case temp.
