ECS G41T-M6 cpu support

Hello everyone,

I want to know if Intel Core 2 Extreme QX6700 will be compatible with my motherboard?

CPU : ARK | Intel® Coreâ„¢2 Extreme Processor QX6700 (8M Cache, 2.66 GHz, 1066 MHz FSB)

Motherboard : ECS Web Site > G41T-M6 (V1.0)

I want an answer as fast as anyone see it,please!

The QX6700 isn't specifically listed, but the Q6700 is so I'd be willing to bet it would work.

So it's gonna be compatible or not? Tommorow the person own that cpu will send it to me for 50euro.I need to know if i'll waste my money or not.

Try to remember most of us live in the US so a lot of us have been asleep.

50 euro? That's basically the price of a new Haswell Pentium or i3. I wouldn't spend that kind of money on such an old CPU.

Here in Cyprus prices are high.You find an i3 from 110 to 150.

The QX6700 is the same as a Q6700 except with an unlocked multiplier. They probably don't have it listed because the QX6700 wasn't very popular or well known chip so they probably didn't bother testing it in house.
