PSU/GPU question quick!

ok on the last step on my new computer on when it came time for my video card im confused gpu is a 770

i have this SeaSonic M12II 620 Bronze 620W ATX12V V2.3 / EPS 12V V2.91 SLI Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Full Modular Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready - Newegg.com power supply its full modular now it came with TWO video card pci cables. each cable has TWO 6/8 pin ends now do i use 1 end off each cable and plug both into the PSU or just both ends off 1 cable and only plug 1 cable into the PSU

You need to use both cables. On one you'll need to use all 8 pins, and on the other you'll only need to use 6.

i was thinking id need both cables tho it would be so much cleaner if i could just use 1 cable and with both ends lol

When you start pulling a lot of power through a single set of cables they could start to melt on you.

Same goes for cheap extender cables too. If they aren't made with a thick gauge they will melt.
