I have an Intel Pentium 4 520 with an Abit AA8-Duramax. Using the uGuru overclocking utility, I was able to overclock the 520 from 2.8 GHz all the way up to 3.54 GHz stable and I'm not at a wall yet.
Here are my settings:
14 x 253 = 3540
4 x 253 = 1012 (FSB)
1.4375 VCore
1.90 DDR V
1.70 Northbridge V
1:1 CPU:Mem Ratio
Cool Settings
Idle: 47C & 2460 RPM
Full Load: 61C & 3800 RPM
Intel HS/F
I want to overclock this higher, but I can't since I hate loud computers and the heatsink is right now driving me crazy at 3800 RPM. Would getting a better case with 3 case fans be better? or a better heatsink?
