GF6800 ... SFX or Asus ?

I have found an Asus GeForce 6800 GT for £210 and a SFX GeForce 6800 (Not GT) for £200. Which one would people recommend? I know GT is better but why is Asus so much cheaper?!

The gt, with out a doubt, it is better specced and quite reasonably priced!!!

hmmm, if it uses gddr3 and has all the same specs as other geforce 6800gt, then it should perform alot better than that 6800... perhaps the question you should be asking is why SFX is so expensive... id say go with asus, even tho EVGA is the preferred brand of just about everyone i know.

Turns out that both of them are just normal DDR (700MHz) i.e. not gDDR3.

strange r u sure its a gt, the second one that is, i thought memory speeds on the gt were nearer to 1000!!

Gee whiz, i have the regular plain jane ASUS 6800 and the mem on it is stock DDR3 @ 1ghz. The ASUS card will also include SmartDoctor or something to that effect that you can OC your vid card on ultimately making it an Ultra, without the need to go into your bios.

you should get an eVGA 6800GT you can oc it to ultra speeds w/out even putting a heatsink on it.
