I tried this and there was nothing there. Wouldn't I get the same results by unhiding my Windows folders? Thanks again for the help...........

Here's what you can do. Start > Run > %temp% > OK > Edit > Select All > File > Delete > Yes.

WOW! That was a mouthful! It's not AS confusing as it looks though.

Okay I made that script exactly like you said apokalipse, but when I go to run and type %temp% I get taken to a whole new directory filled with files like this for example:
"C:\DOCUME~1\Mitchell\LOCALS~1\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5"

and "C:\DOCUME~1\Mitchell\LOCALS~1\Temp"

They are jampacked full of crap.... also the main directory for these is "C:\DOCUME~1\Mitchell\LOCALS~1"

Now for everyone else the name would be whatever your screenname is... well with xp at least.

Also I am not able to delete the temporary internet files from here... but I am able to delete the temp files.

run a search with these criteria. once you find out which files is taking up space, you can figure out how to delete them:

close your IE windows before deleting the files in \temporary internet files\
and close your programs before you delete the files in \temp\

I recommend you keep the user name as '*' so that it deletes the temporary files of all users
