Hi, I have spyware on my HP laptop. I've tried online tools but they never find it. I only know it's there because I did a factory reset and it came up as a bogus registration form after. It's not in programs. It's called Information Ink and it's from DesignerWare .Ilc.

Run a scan with Malwarebytes Antimalware and post the results log here
Then run a scan with HiJackThis (HiJackThis | Free software downloads at SourceForge.net) and post the log contents here as well

Running the scans in Safe Mode will net you the best results.

I'd also recommend posting screenshot(s) of your installed programs list in case there's anything there that shouldn't be.

Close the current instance, and just right click the HiJackThis executable then do Run as Administrator and you won't get that message.

Ok i ran that. So do I just look through all the files it shows for the spyware one, check it and so on? I know...that's vague...I'm a noob lol

Nonono, don't do that lol.

Post the log here, and we'll tell you what to remove. You can seriously mess up your system if you just do that unless you know what you're looking at lol.

Does it matter that for half of the items that came up it says file missing?
