No post, GPU fan stops and starts

I noticed there weren't any updates, and figured that everything was fine so they didn't need to do updates. I am gonna RMA on newegg because I heard gigabyte can take a long time

About that ram, if you can get a computer repair shop to test your ram and another brand on your mobo.
It will let you know right away, if that corsair dominator is not compatible with it.

Better thing to ask, exact specs of that RAM. If it's 1600 1.65v it would be fine.

Whoops it is corsair vengeance ram, 2x4gb 1.5v
It bought it as a combo with the mobo and saved a little

Yea so RAM shouldn't be an issue. Did you check the CPU to see if you may have crushed something?

WOW LOL so somehow the CPU wasn't actually in the slot, I put it in before and put down the safety level before but I guess it somehow came up when I was putting on the cooler. When I took off the cooler the CPU came off too.
I didn't reapply thermal paste and I just put it back on, now it beeps a trillion times now gonna hook up the ram, screw it in etc
