Chromebook c7 battery going dead quickly

Hi everyone

I have had a Chomebook c7 sense December now, love the little thing. But according to my battery monitor a fully battery might last two hours. And I was lucky if it lasted that long today just typing on Libreoffice.

I have linux on it. So thats why it has some of these extras that ChomeOS wouldn't have.

It says on the box that it has a 4 cell Li-ion battery. It was $200 from best buy so I am assuming it didn't have the latest and greatest. Its battery says Rating 14.8V (solid line over three dotted lines) 2500mAh,37Wh

It didn't know if maybe there was an upgraded battery pack I could get or something? Or if maybe there was some other issue?

It probably isn't really a problem with the notebook, the Acer C710 Chromebook just had a very weak battery, and Chrome OS might be a little more power-saving than Linux. If it just started happening recently, though, it could be a problem. If it's a problem, though, I'm afraid I can't help with that.
