I recently got a powerline adapter since my router is quite far away from my desktop. The powerline adapter is a Devolo DLAN 500 and has worked fine with my 20 mbps package until today. Today it shows signs of irregularity and inconsistency. I do simple speedtests and pinging the google server via command prompt and get 4 completely different results varying from 20 ping to atleast 300 ping. Any thoughts on this or how I could fix it? I have tried resetting all the connections, routers, switching ports etc. The problem only persists on my desktop. Speedtests on my iPad have shown 20 MBPS as usual.
