monitor not showing anything

I've been having This problem for a while. I'm really not sure what triggered it off.

Whenever I turn my pc on it boots up fine (I think) but there is never anything shown on the monitor display. If I turn the monitor off and back on it reads the message "analogue no signal". I have checked all the connections etc and I'm at a complete loss

Is anyone here familiar with this and has any ideas?

My computer is a packard bell

How do you have it connected, VGA, DVI, or HDMI?

Sounds like it's stuck on analog mode, and you're using either DVI or HDMI (digital). Switch the input mode on the monitor's menu.

Change the input and if doesent work.video card is shot.
