Hi! I'm building a PC for my cousin, but I have no idea about new hardware, so I thought I'd drop by for some recommendations.
The build I'm looking at for him currently is;
MoBo: Asrock X79-Extreme4
Chassis: Thermaltake Versa H22 with 500W "Silent" PSU
CPU: i7-4820k LGA2011 3.7Ghz/10mb L2
GPU: GTX760 2GB
SSD: 60GB Kingston V300
HDD: 2TB Seagate 7200rpm 64mb Barracuda
RAM: 2x 4GB Kingston DDR3 1600Mhz
DVD: LG GH24-NSB0
OS: Windows 8 (should probably use W7 though)
He wants to use it for gaming; presumably Dota 2, LOL and BF4.
His budget is $1500 AUD, but can play around a bit.
Don't need peripherals, just the tower.
Is this all fine so far or are there obvious improvements I am missing?
EDIT: I'll probably get everything from here --> http://netplus.com.au
