Expanded HDD newbie here - need help

15K drives?
Those are for storing *smallish* amounts of data that a computer would need to "constantly" access (e.g. - SQL database that is consistently being written to).

They're performance drives, hence the small space.

Unless you plan on running a small server, no.
15k RPM drives are always on/spinning.
That is great for servers, it wastes electricity for regular end users.

If you do elect to keep them, Win7 has symbolic linking.
Or you could mount the hdd to a folder instead of a drive letter.
You could transfer a game/app that may benefit from better load times.
