Dell Inspiron E1505 Problem(s)

My sister's laptop was recently booting but the screen wouldn't turn on. This had happened before, and the problem usually took care of itself, so I plugged it into an external monitor. Upon booting, I had realized that the keyboard and touchpad (including buttons) also weren't working. Is there a reason that this was happening all of a sudden?

EDIT:
The front media buttons also stopped responding or glowing blue.

Check device manager and see if the drivers are missing or not. If there is a yellow exclamation then there's a problem with the drivers, and will need to be reinstalled.

It says that everything is installed and working properly except for the mouse. :/

Try reinstalling the touchpad drivers.

Also look to see if there is a keyboard or hotkey utility or something like that for the media keys to try getting them working again.

Have you just tried rebooting again by chance?

I have a feeling I should just replace the whole laptop, shouldn't I?
