Upgrading the touchpad on a Thinkpad Edge E530

Reviews say the touchpad on the E530 is crap when, for the price, the rest of the computer isn't bad at all. Is it possible to somehow swap out the E530s touchpad to one not as jittery etc?

Thanks

You'd have to find one that would fit, and that's even assuming you can change the actual touchpad without having to change the whole top part of the chassis (most you do because the touchpad is embedded pretty good in the top/front plastic bezel of laptops).

I'd almost assume that it could just be an outdated driver - if you get the right driver, then most touchpad issues go away (unless the touchpad really is that bad). If it's a Synaptics touchpad, you can get them here: Drivers | Synaptics
