You know what works like a charm? Dish soap right behind the sticker on any fan. Works very nicely on older fans.

soap???? lol never thought of that hmm... i'll get my crowbar that i stole from freeman, rip that fan off and put some soapy through it. and then use the duct tape to stick it back on

while at it.... i'll be smarter then a 22 century guy in doom 3 and put a god damn flashlight on my pistol using the duct tape incase hell opens in my house

So WD40, lithium, and graphite all do the same thing
