I have been looking around newegg.ca for some computer parts.
My problem is i dont what motherboard with be best for computer cases.

Parts i have takin from my old PC, Harddrive 1TB, 6 GB of ram and the DVD drive.

I was wondering if someone could post me the best computer parts i would need to run BF4 and other games.

I also dont have any plans to overclock it.

Lol i also forgot to format the harddrive b4 i pulled it from the old computer.

I can only spend $1,000 but if i can get it cheaper that would be great.

Ps, this is my first build.

What kind of ram is it? DDR2, DDR3, etc...?
Would you need monitor, mouse, KB, and OS?

...and I assume it's a 1000 CAD, correct?

The ram... I really cant tell if what it is. All it says on the stick is ( 2GB 2Rx8 PC2-6400u-666-12-E3

Nope i have a monitor KB and mouse.

The harddrive is also SATA.
The old computer is a prebuild HP.

I agree with previous mentioned parts besides a few things. You said you won't be overclocking so getting a 4670k and Z87 is a bit much. You could do with these if you wanted. And I don't agree with the pricing on the PSU, so I recommend the Seasonic instead.

I would also add an SSD in the mix since you have a little extra budget.
