Your build looks abit too weak to me.
AIm for a fx4100 am3+:
Choose A CPU - PCPartPicker United Kingdom

AIm for kingston ram:
Kingston 4GB (1 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory (KHX1600C9D3/4G) - PCPartPicker United Kingdom

Aim for this hard drive:
Western Digital Caviar Blue 750GB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive (WD7500AZEX) - PCPartPicker United Kingdom

Corsair CX 600W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply (CX600M) - PCPartPicker United Kingdom

Keep the motherboard and case.
Sorry for being in a hurry but I am walking to my job in the rain and trying not to get hit.
I'll check back in a few hours or so, not bad for a rookie build but its too weak. :/

What's your current laptop specs?
I would not try and game on such a rig. You need more of a budget before venturing into getting a "gaming" setup. Even if it is only 100 more pounds. You can make a pretty decent Haswell Pentium setup but you're not left with enough money for a GPU that can handle anything.
