The Samsung pro drives are of much better quality. Higher IOPS and a longer warranty are the main differences though. I'd say it's worth it.

The 840pro is built different internally compared to the EVO. I would buy either an EVO or the 840pro myself. Just don't buy the 840 regular.

If you get it from Newegg, don't use the Super Egg Saver option....I bought the Samsung EVO on black friday (11-29) and I'm still waiting for it to arrive
