Time for an upgrade

Hey everyone, so this is my current build, which you guys helped me with a couple years back (Thank you, Thank you). I am currently thinking about upgrading a part or two of my build. I was leaning towards the GPU, because I think the HDMI port went out on it ( I still have to try and hook it up to TV to see if its the GPU, or the monitor). But I before I went ahead and did anything, I wanted to opinion of my fellow forum members who are more knowledgeable in this area. If you agree with upgrading the GPU, please give me some recommendations, I am looking around the $300 price range. Or if you think something else needs to be upgraded first, by all means let me know. As far as games I play on here is a short list; Diablo 3 (sometimes) Final Fantasy XIV, LoL, BF3, Darksiders etc. Also, while were getting to know each other, if you have any other recommendations for games that you're like OMG try this game, please let me know (no WoW).

That's still a decent system, but if I had to chime in, I would suggest a new GPU (660 ti, 760, etc...)

Just my 2 cents... I have an Asrock Z77 Extreme3 mobo for sale (not listed on TF yet) if your interested.

I suggest the R9 280x.

What makes the R9 280x so special? Good performance for the price, personal preference, does one manufacturer have a better r9 280x, because I am seeing a bunch of different manufactureres offer the R9 280x.

Best performance level for the money. My personal preference is Nvidia, but the 770 is usually 30 bucks more for about the same level of performance an 1GB less VRAM.

Any brand really. For AMD I stick to Asus, XFX, and Sapphire.

Can't really suggest anything lower than a 770 or 280x from your 570. I have a 580 and overclocked I'm getting between 660ti and 670 performance which is relevant to 760 performance. I mean for 216 it's a good deal, but I guess it all depends on if it's worth it to you. Personally I say just spend your budget and go with one of the two above.
