I gave you a link to the driver. Download the file I posted then run it to see if it installs and fixes your issues.

Didnt seem to help I've checked my drivers via the simple update check on windows 7 and appears to be up to date. Any other suggestions?

Don't use the built-in update check in Windows - that checks Windows Update. We want to manually install the driver. .

Download the file I posted (twice now). Run it and let it install.

I did its the wrong driver It wont even register after that I used a restore point to get it back to before.

Try the 255 driver first. If it doesn't work, then try to uninstall your current 239 driver (right click in Device Manager > Uninstall), and reinstall it via the 239 link above.
