Hello!

If you're reading this thank you for taking the time! If possible, I need part recommendations for the amount of money available to spend on a new machine. I can either get the parts from a Microcenter or order them from newegg/amazon. I will need the following components... case, power supply, monitor, mobo, ram, hdd, processor, video card, wireless card, cd drive. Thank you in advance!

Primary PC Use: Gaming
PC Budget: $1000 (+/-200)

My sig is my PC from years ago. Some of the parts I still use in my current desktop. This computer however will not be for me. I know which components I need just not where to spend more money and where to save some. I'd think the case can be standard case nothing fancy and the processor should be an i5 and not i7. But I haven't built one for about 4+ years so I'm not privy to what I should spend more on or what brand/type of part I should stay away from.

Well was gonna say, the stuff in your machine is pretty much still all good. Anyways, rule of thumb, absolutely no gaming machine needs an i7. Next rule, as much GPU power as humanly possible without skimping.
Moving on, do you need an OS too?

Without OS, left wiggle room with that +/- 200.

I will need an OS unfortunately. I'll pick up a copy of Windows 7 Pro. I'll have some time tonight to look at the parts you've selected I can't wait.

Bah, sorry that was an edit so the links aren't showing the hardware.

4th gen Intel i5 4430
8GB of RAM
Seasonic 620w PSU
1TB HDD
GTX 760

Gist of it.

You need me to redo it for budget, or will you cover it with the leeway I left on that +/- 200?
