Is this a good processor upgrade?

Hey, so I've had my laptop for almost two years now and I know that the processor is swappable. I found a list of compatible processors and I want to know if the swap I want to make is worth it.

The one I have now is the i7-2670QM and I want to swap it with the i7-2920XM, but I don't know if it would be worth it...

How much did you find that processor for? That'd be very important.

From what I can tell it's currently at $1,096.

I want to be able to keep this computer for about two more years (Until I go to college) and then I'll get a new one. I'm just looking for a way to keep this one up to date as much as possible until then.

//EDIT: The computer cost about $1,500-$1,600 when I first bought it, but since then I have swapped the 500Gb internal for a 1Tb and the RAM from 6Gb to 16Gb

I added a processor to my comparison page, I might want to lower the price and this would be an acceptable compromise.
