My friends pc started to reset randomly about a month ago, so a long long long story short. He has replaced the Power supply, motherboard, hdd, cpu and video card.
Parts list- old/new
Corsair 750 -> Thermaltake 850
z77Extreme4 -> z77Extreme4
seagate -> Kingston 300v
i5 2500 -> i5 3570k
msi gtx 670 -> old ati 4870
The pc seems to reset more often in bios than in windows, he has ordered new ram but he did run memtest with no errors. also tried one stick at a time in each slot and running it in his bothers pc.
Not really sure what to tell him, he pretty much has a new computer in the box but it still resets.
