nf7 s2ultra wont turn on

hi a freind of mine has a just put a new system toghether but when he trys to turn it on it doesent turn the monitor on,also the floppy drive doesent seem to turn on,i tried both of these in my system and they are fine ,everything else comes on fine fans hd etc,

Is the graphics onboard on his system?

no if it's the NF7-S v2 it wont have onboard graphics

after playing about with it i found out it was his processor,he had to take is board out today to take back to the store and have it replaced due to bad onboard sound,and rather than wait for me to put it all back toghether for him he did it himself ,so now he cant use his new board has he has no cpu,if hed just waited 30 mins i would of done it but oh no he had to rush,and now he has to find £100 for another,
well i least i know what to look for if it happens again the only things that woudent work was fdd and grafixcard

What was wrong with his processor? How would a bad processor affect the fdd? Erm...

the porocessr was just dead, i tried it in my comp and there was nothing,but for some reason everything else was on but the fdd and there was no signal to monitor
