2.7Ghz Celervon Vs Athlon 3000+?

hey let me share something i learnt over here

athlon == gaming
pentium == everything except gaming
celeron == umm errr... is there any thing else left

Actually it is more like this:

Athlon = whippz @ everything
Intel = waste of money but tries to keep up with AMD
Celeron = trash filler

Let me make this clear techie kids:

->It is not the GHZ of the processor, it is what it does with the GHZ. If you benchmark an AMD and Intel, a 3000+ would do the same work in the same amount of time as a 3.0GHZ Pentium 4, with the same RAM and parts. So don't look @ GHZ when u buy a chip

Go with the Amd. IMO Amd is better for everything.

I can understand if u compered an AMD Duron to a Celeron but compering it to an Athlon is suicide the Athlon i far more superior and as apokalipse said the Celeron Processor is the cheap alternative to a Pentium
