About a month ago I had posted about which card to get, the 7950 or 660ti and the vote appeared to be the 660ti. Now however, I still haven't gotten a card but the 760 just came out and from what I've read is faster, while also being cheaper.

Is the 760 the card in the price range? And on my 22" 1080P monitor will I be able to max out (for the most part) games like Battlefield 4 and Rome total war?

Thanks!

No a 760 is better than a 660ti and slightly less performing than a 670. The 760 is the better card for 50 dollars cheaper than the 660ti (for now).

BF3 and BF4 will be easily maxed out as they are essentially the same thing. Rome Total War will depend on your CPU.

Take a look for your self, here is a card comparison by GPU boss.

Get the EVGA GTX760
The reason why I am telling you to get this one is because it has higher clocks than other cards, it has a good cooler, the only bad thing is it ships in 2-3 weeks, its worth it though.
Base Clock: 1072 MHz VS 980MHZ
Boost Clock: 1137 MHz VS 1033MHZ

Trust me, grab the card I linked and wait 2-3 weeks for the card, it will last longer than most other gt 760's. I mean the base clock is almost 100MHZ higher than the stock clocks!

O dang! didnt even notice it, i thought it was 2-3 weeks.
its hard to get a card with fast shipping because they are in demand, unless your fine with paying $20 more( i would be) for a card that they will ship in a week or so

Hate to hijack- how much better will this 760 will perform compared to my 2 year old 560Ti (448 core) ? Just starting to look for a new card. It has like double the Cuda score...

I'll try to break it down.

A 448 Core 560ti is more like a 570, which a 660 is slightly faster than that, and the 760 is faster than the 660ti.

To break it down further, the 660ti is faster than a 580, and the 760 is faster than that.
