left touchpad button fixing?

my hp dv6000 laptop left button suddenly stop working.

I did all the software troubleshooting and didn't help.

is there a way to figure out what broke?

anyone successfully fix theirs?

I know its a multilayered plastic circuit.

hi if your good with your hands download a manual showing you how to dissemble the laptop case there should be a circuit board with two or more ribbons try see if they aint lose you can try replace the little circuit button board there cheap anyway!
