At this point I've tried everything. I am fairly certain there is a short somewhere on the motherboard, I've switched out to another power supply and i get the same problem. Anyone want to recommend me a new motherboard?
That Gigabyte motherboard was part of my reply in my first comment, as better components should have been bought. I have shunned recommending any Gigabyte products due to their recent lower quality standards and lowering reputation.
I have personally used and fully recommend the ASRock Extreme 6.
