GTX 700 series, be warned.

Alright peeps here's the deal. Although the 770 is a direct rehash of the 680 it has 2 things going for it which makes it better.

1. Price. On release it's currently 100 bucks cheaper than a 2GB reference 680.
2. TDP and Boost 2.0. The 700 series uses a 6+8pin power configuration bumping the overclocking potential without the drawback of Boost 1.0. Boost 2.0 relies on GPU temps rather than power usage to "protect" the card so high potential OCs don't require a bios mod.

Things to take into consideration before dropping on a shiny new 680. The 770 is the exact same card but cheaper and IMO better in those 2 aspects.

If you have the cash for one of these, I suggest waiting for the 4GB models which are soon to follow. You'll need it.
