2 problems with both of those machines, firstly yes they are over priced, second not enough GPU power. For that kind of money you want at LEAST a 670. Another thing is, get an IB setup. 3570k. The 3820 is slower than the 3570k and is more comparable to the 2600k.

I got some errands to run, when I get back I'll head to avadirect for you and get something together.

I would take PP's advise and change those CPU and Video Card. I would also add a 250GB SSD for the OS and games and all the data on the TB.

Everything else is fine.

Much much much better gaming PC than the ones you listed. Faster CPU, much faster GPU and an SSD which makes all the difference.

I would like to add that building a computer seems scary at first, but if you go to Youtube, or just Google/Bing how to build a computer, you can pretty much follow them step by step. So IMO if you are willing to spend $1,800 plus tax and shipping (2,000 roughly) you can build an amazing machine for that kind of money. Also you feel a real sense of satisfaction when you are done, and you will understand the inner workings of your computer better just in case something does go wrong in the future, and you can come here with any problems, these guys are amazing at what they do.

Ignore them.

But yes, build your own PC. Way cheaper and it will be made better with better parts.

As others have said, there are numerous videos on YouTube on how to build a PC. We can also help you here.
