External HDD

Someone recommend a 2tb external HDD using USB 3.0 please.. I am moving all my data from my internal drive to the external. (Photos, videos, Movies, Documents, etc..) If I decide to go internal already know what I am going to get but I think an external drive would be the best just in case I need to bring it with me to work on the go.

Now for recommendations.... GO!

Think it would be fine running all the time being an external drive? I have just filled up my internal and think it would be easier to have an external just in case I need to work while I am on the road.
