Avatar ~ Can't upload one

Ok, I've checked the requirements to upload an image for your profile photo and I feel I'm within the range for image size and required posts but when I select an image from my computer it uploads, but won't save. Gives me an error stating the image has not been uploaded although I see it on the profile screen.

What gives?

You do not meet the post requirements. You must Have 250 posts to have an avatar of your choice. It is in the sticky topic above.
