Need Help on knew CPU!

I thought the same thing when I Googled that Lenovo board. Kept seeing laptop stuff, but that chipset and CPU are definitely for a desktop. H61 chipset is marked HM61.

Also, yes this upgrade is mainly for Gaming and it is a desktop PC.

What's your video card? A CPU upgrade wont be effective if you don't have a good video card.

Upgrading to the 2500k wont exactly help your performance if you are looking to raise settings or get better FPS. The 520 should have been upgraded first before the CPU.

Depends on budget because the power supply is rather weak.
