First gaming pc build list

Okay so I finally ordered everything I need to get started on my first ever pc gaming build. Feedback would be great as I'm not exactly the most tech savvy person.

Motherboard: MSI Z77A-G45 ATX Intel Motherboard
Processor: Intel i5-3570k 3.4GHz
SSD: Samsung 840 Pro Series 128 GB
Memory: Kingston Hyper X 16 GB 240-pin DDR3 1600
GPU: Geforce GTX 660 super-clocked 2GB 192-bit GDDR5 PCIE 3.0 x16 HDCP ready
CPU cooler: Hyper 212 EVO
PSU: Cooler Master GX series 650W ATX12V
Case: Cooler Master Elite 430 Mid Tower

Think that's everything, I guess this should be a pretty decent gaming computer...at least that's what my buddy tells me. I've not much experience with these things so not quite sure.

Would have put more money into a better PSU, and better GPU rather than getting more RAM that is needed and an aftermarket cooler. Other than that looks good.

Well the PSU I didn't buy, I'm taking it out of my old computer since it's only about 6 months old.

I'd suggest against using the GX series of CoolerMaster since it's one of their crappiest as far as reviews go. I don't think it'll be much dangerous tho unless you go multi GPU, but then again nothing is guaranteed.

If you weren't so sure, then why would you buy the parts.

Looks like you'll be playing games in no time... Have fun with the build and don't forget cable management, and post pics afterwards.

Well you sure done pretty good for someone with minimal knowledge. Would of upped the GPU though.
