How do I get turn off of the 3d setting on computer

I think any 3D settings would be controlled through the application(s) using it.

Usually there is some kind of either ATI or nvidia control panel, where you can adjust setting there. At least in nvidia you can go under the "Manage 3d setting" and adjust from there.
But as iFargle asked... What do you mean? If you give us some insight as to why you want to do it, then we might be able to help you further.

Good call... I didn't look at it.
Since there was no need to start a new thread, when it could have been asked on his LOTR post... Either way... the control panel is a good way to start...
or...
Look in the settings of the game and turn it off from there.
